Underwater unknown

The TED talks have some real gems. I’m mentioned others here before. In this talk, David Gallo shows some recent underwater footage, some from the deep sea, some from shallow waters. We’re talking Times Square and the invisibility cloak. Amazing stuff. As he notes, we only know about 3% of the ocean. We have assumed it’s mostly empty, yet some of it is teaming with more life than the tropics. And this in places we would not have imagined life.
