Back in Tech Search, I mentioned the powerful new index of reviews on the best software to get the job done. And a special Google API for Windows tech sites for more targeted tech searches.

Recently, Gizmo’s Tech Support Alert newsletter merged with Window’s Secrets. The have added Gizmo’s articles (including once paid only content) to the Windows Secrets and Langa List reviews.

Gizmo’s support web site still has the separate Wiki style reviews, many of them provided by experts in the tech community. For a good and fairly complete set of recommended options for freeware, be sure to check it out. There used to be over 150 categories. Don’t know how many there is now.

Try the first for troubleshooting and reviews that include commercial products. Try the second for freeware.These are great resources for a trouble free computing experience.
