A 6 1/2 minute clip on YouTube showing a prototype of the “$100 computer” at Siggraph. It that actually costs $140 to make.

Mesh network computer with built in camera, flippable screen, and hi res mono mode for reading. Includes Paint, Calculator, Word Processor, Chat, sound mixer, network views, journaling, and educational apps.

They’ve removed the crank and are developing alternates like solar or a foot charger.
