Popular Science has awarded its Best of Whats New for 2007. And the winner for Green Tech is, as they suggest, solar panels without the panels. Its essentially an ink, printed on sheets of foil. And its 1/10 the cost of traditional solar panels, easy roll-out rather than mounted glass panels. That brings it to the magic lower-than-coal cost, by a good margin at that. 30 cents a watt with commercial efficiency.
