Polaroid dies…

Polaroid has begun phasing out its film products. Like RCA, it soon becomes just a logo on digital cameras and screens. A meaningless name, living on its prior market space.

“Polaroid will make enough instant film to last into 2009, and plans to license its technology to third-party companies for diehard customers.”

But it will become a specialty item at best.

Artists have started a petition to save it.

CBC did a piece on it, including the Art.
