Here’s something you don’t see every day – a web service that’s been around since the very early days of the web. Mosaic was the first web browser to support graphics so anything before 1994 was text only. Basically, dial-up bulletin boards. There was only one Internet provider around these parts then.

This is True is a weekly free newsletter that features “bizarre-but-true news items from legitimate newspapers from around the world (never “tabloids”).” “Truth is stranger than fiction because fiction has to make sense.”

Randy Cassingham has been publishing his column weekly online since 1994.
